Negin Kananizadeh, PhD, PE, is a Project Environmental Engineer at NewFields, with experience dating back to October 2019. Previously, Negin served as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Instructor at Clemson University from October 2017 to October 2019, specializing in Application Development in LabVIEW. Negin's research experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from June 2012 to June 2017, where significant contributions were made in simulating the efficiency of various droplets in low permeable zones, developing patterned microfluidic channels, co-founding an innovative microscope for contaminant detection, and utilizing advanced techniques for contaminants detection. Negin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, along with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
