Roman Timm's education history is as follows:

Roman Timm completed High Performance Boards (HPB) coursework at IMD in 2023. In the same year, Roman also completed a course on Boards and Risks at IMD.

In 2009, Roman Timm obtained a degree in Leading the Professional Service Firm (LPSF) from Harvard Business School, with a focus on Management/Leadership.

In 2007, Roman Timm completed the Breakthrough Program for Senior Executives (BPSE) at IMD, specializing in Management/Leadership.

Roman Timm earned a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Zurich between 1994 and 1998. Prior to that, Roman received a Masters of Science in Physical Chemistry and Atomic Physics from the same university from 1987 to 1994.

Roman Timm completed their secondary education and received a Matura degree from Kantonschule Rämibühl in 1988.
