Debbie Newell has a diverse range of work experience in various roles. Debbie started their career in 1994, working in design and sales. From 2003 to 2010, they served as an Architectural Sales Representative at Daltile, where they were responsible for growing commercial specifications and managing key accounts. In 2010, they became Vice President at Adelaide's, where they oversaw strategic planning, sales, marketing, customer relations, and vendor management. In 2012, they joined Herman Miller as a Business Development Manager, developing long-term relationships with key decision makers in large commercial accounts. Since 2015, they have been working at New Home Co., initially as a Designer and later as a Designer, Corporate, supporting the Design Studio Director and collaborating with sales, marketing, and purchasing teams to design and develop package specifications for consumer-driven homes in select growth markets.

Debbie Newell's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Interior Design from San Diego State University. Debbie attended the university from 1989 to 1994.
