Justin Walters

Justin Walters has extensive work experience in project management and development. Justin started their career as a Purchasing Agent at John Laing Homes in 2005 and worked there until 2009. During this time, they also interned as a Planning Intern at the Sacramento County Planning and Community Development Department from August 2009 to November 2009.

In 2010, Justin joined Vanderbuilt Construction as a Project Manager, handling various construction projects until December 2010. Justin then pursued an MBA in Urban Land Development at California State University, Sacramento, from January 2008 to June 2010.

Following their education, they took on the role of Director of Project Management at The New Home Company Inc. in January 2011. Justin held this position for nearly a decade until July 2020 when they were promoted to Vice President of Project Management & Development. Justin currently holds this position at The New Home Company Inc.

Additionally, Justin participated in the BUILD Leadership Program at the North State Building Industry Association from December 2007 to December 2008. Justin also worked as a part of the Emerging Renewables Program at the California Energy Commission from April 2003 to August 2004.

Justin Walters completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis, graduating in 2004. After a few years, they pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Urban Land Development from California State University-Sacramento. Justin completed their MBA program between 2008 and 2010.
