Jari Osmala

Jari Osmala is a board member at NewIcon and has previously worked with several startup and growth companies, most notably JO Development Oy, Normet Group, and Valtra, Inc.

Osmala began their career with Valtra, Inc. in 1996 as the Director of the Assembly Plant. Jari was promoted to Marketing Director in 1998 and then to Director of Services in 2002. In 2003, they left Valtra to become the President and CEO of Normet Group.

In 2010, Osmala left Normet Group to pursue other opportunities. Jari has since been involved with several startups and growth companies, helping them to develop and grow.

Jari Osmala has a Master's degree in Engineering & Business adm. from Helsinki University of Technlogy, an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Jyväskylän yliopisto / Jyväskylä University Avance Executive MBA, and a DI in Manufacturing Technology, Production Economics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
