Jouko Turunen

Jouko Turunen began their work experience as a Mechanical Designer at JOT Automation Ltd. in 2000. Jouko then served as a Design Team Leader from 2004 to 2006, overseeing the resource management and skill development of their team. Jouko also worked as a Technical Sales Manager from 2006 to 2009, where they conducted concept design and budgetary quotation work, and presented technical solutions to customers.

In 2011, Jouko joined Savonia University of Applied Sciences as a Project Engineer, focusing on the development and testing of new design and production methods. Jouko'sresponsibilities included product development, product lifecycle management, and concept development, among others.

Jouko then joined Samesor Oy in 2013, initially as an R&D Manager until 2020. In this role, Jouko was responsible for managing research and development projects. Jouko later transitioned into the position of Project Manager, a role they held until 2023.

Most recently, in 2023, Jouko joined NewIcon - Health Technology Company as a Project Manager.

Throughout their career, Jouko has gained experience in project management, team leadership, technical sales, and mechanical design.

Jouko Turunen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Machine Automation from Pohjois-Savo Polytechnic School of Engineering from 1989 to 1993.
