Maureen Mazurek

Maureen Mazurek is currently the Director of Communications at NewLeaf Symbiotics. Maureen has over 25 years of experience in sustainability and social innovation, including senior global leadership positions at Monsanto Company and FleishmanHillard. Mazurek is also a founding member of #Nourishing 9B, a global initiative to educate university students about the food value chain.

Maureen Mazurek completed the Prince of Wales Business & Sustainability Programme at the University of Cambridge in Environmental Science. Maureen then went on to complete their Executive Chemistry at Duke University in the Department of Chemistry. After that, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General at Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business. Finally, they completed their Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering & supply chain management at Bowling Green State University.

Maureen Mazurek reports to Steve Kahn, CEO. They are on a team with Janne Kerovuo - Chief Technology Officer, C. Michael Mcfatrich - Vice President Business Strategy & Development, and Aaron Kelley - Vice President Manufacturing.
