Benjamin Myers

Benjamin Myers has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Benjamin currently works as a Process Engineer at Newlight Technologies, Inc. starting from May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Padagis LLC as a Facilities Engineer from July 2021 to April 2022. In this role, they had a dual role focusing on capital projects, metrology management, and continuous improvement. Additionally, they served as a Project Engineer for the Facilities Team, where they were responsible for the design, installation, onboarding, commissioning, qualification, troubleshooting, and authoring of technical documentation for the onsite USP Purified Water System. Benjamin also co-led the design, qualification, automation, and installation of a 750-gallon tank and tempered water jacket heating and cooling system.

Before joining Padagis LLC, Benjamin worked as a Facilities Engineer for Perrigo Company plc from December 2018 to July 2021. Benjamin was previously a Contractor at Pfizer through Aerotek from March 2016 to November 2018. Benjamin also has experience as a Science Learning Center Facilitator at the University of Michigan from September 2014 to January 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Cedar Point in 2014, a Wire Assembly employee at Gentex Corporation in 2012, and a Construction Worker at Stalwart in 2010.

Benjamin Myers completed their high school education at Thornapple Kellogg High School from 2008 to 2012, earning a High School Diploma. From 2012 to 2015, they furthered their education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering. Following this, in 2015, they acquired the Engineer in Training certification from the NCEES institution. Recently, from 2021 to 2022, Benjamin pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Systems and Controls Engineering at Case Western Reserve University.
