Natasha Parker

Quality Manager at NewLink Genetics

Natasha Parker has worked in quality assurance and control since 2001. Natasha began their career at Baxter International Inc. as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, where they performed routine and non-routine microbiological testing, served as technical leader, and lead assay troubleshooting, validation and technology transfer activities. In 2005, they joined MacroGenics, Inc. as a Quality Control Microbiology Analyst II, where they performed environmental monitoring, testing of raw and in-process material and final product using various chemistry, biological and microbiological methods. In 2007, they were promoted to Microbiology and Chemistry Analyst III, where they performed analysis of bulk drug substance and final drug product samples in support of stability program and cGMP manufacturing. From 2010 to 2016, they worked for Cel-Sci as Quality Manager and Quality Supervisor, where they authorized all daily laboratory operations under cGMP, maintained strong partnerships with internal and external customers, and reviewed quality control raw data. In 2016, they joined NewLink Genetics as Quality Manager and served as a key player in business process for continuous improvement and innovation. Finally, in 2016, they joined NIH as a Quality Assurance Scientific Program Manager, where they supported non-vaccine biomedical prevention non-clinical/clinical product development, participated in audits, and provided requested information to regulatory departments.

Natasha Parker attended Walden University from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security. Prior to that, they attended Old Dominion University from 1990 to 1994, studying Biology.
