John Bailey

John Bailey has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as General Foreman at Nevada Gold Mines since July 2019. Previously, John held multiple positions at Newmont Mining Corporation, starting in September 1987, including General Foreman of North Area Mine Operations, where responsibilities included serving as a Safety Leadership Coach and managing multiple mining operations. John also functioned as SR. Projects Foreman, overseeing tailings dam construction and other projects, and as Sr. Mining Supervisor, supervising crew members across three mining operations. Earlier in John's career, the role of Production Supervisor involved managing safe production with a crew exceeding 60 individuals, along with experience as Leadman/Blaster, operating heavy equipment, and managing dispatch operations. John Bailey’s education took place in Butte, Montana, from 1980 to 1984.
