Marian Boatamaa is a seasoned professional in geotechnical engineering with extensive experience at Newmont Corporation since October 2013, holding various roles including Senior Geotech & Voids Engineer II, Ag. Mine Operations Foreperson, and Senior Geotechnical Engineer. Prior experience includes a position as an Exploration Geologist at Sungold Exploration, where tasks involved soil and stream sediment sampling, geotechnical and geological logging, geological mapping, and application of induced polarization and self-potential exploration methods. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology (2009 - 2013) and ongoing studies for a Master of Engineering in Mine Engineering and Management at South Dakota Mines since August 2020.
