Michelle Webster has extensive experience in governance, risk, compliance, and IT strategy, currently serving as Head of Governance, Risk, Compliance and Security at Newmont Corporation since April 2019. With a career that began in secondary education, Michelle transitioned to IT and project management, taking on leadership roles at Newmont Mining Corporation and ProBuild Holdings, where significant achievements include generating over $500M in benefits through strategic program delivery. Previous positions also include senior management roles at MillerCoors and Coors Brewing Company, focusing on human capital management and the establishment of project management offices. Michelle holds an MBA from the University of Denver, a Secondary Education degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a BS in Computer Science from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
