Sven Jarver

Sven Jarver is an accomplished Project Director with extensive experience in managing large-scale projects across various sectors within the mining and resources industry. Currently serving as Project Director at Newmont Corporation since January 2021, Sven oversees the $1.2B TE2 expansion project. Prior roles include acting as Project Director and Project Manager at Hatch, where Sven contributed to the $300M BHP Whenan System Rehabilitation Project, and as Project Director for QER Pty Ltd's Shale Oil Project, which encompassed a demonstration plant and a commercial facility. Sven has also held significant positions at Rio Tinto, Vale, WMC Resources, and ASC Pty Ltd, managing multimillion-dollar projects and contract negotiations throughout a robust career initiated with a solid educational foundation from the University of Adelaide.
