Troy Morris

Troy Morris serves as the Fixed Plant Manager at Newmont Corporation since November 2023, and previously held the same position at Newcrest Mining from March to November 2023. As a senior business leader, Morris has demonstrated expertise in leading operational departments to safely execute strategies that ensure cost-effective delivery of operational plans. Prior to these roles, Morris was the Global Director at Enviri, overseeing environmental and corporate sustainability across 33 countries. Experience also includes positions at Rio Tinto, where Morris advanced through various roles including Global Business Process Leader and Operations Manager, and at BHP as Director of Asset Management Consulting. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business and diplomas in Maintenance Management and Leadership from TAFE NSW.
