Diego Velasco is an accomplished culinary professional currently serving as Chef De Cuisine at Newport Beach Country Club since January 2023. Diego also holds the position of President at Mise En Place Hospitality, LLC, a role started in June 2021. Diego co-founded The Memphis Group, Corp, where Diego served as Executive Chef from August 1995 until April 2021. Diego's education includes a Culinary Enrichment and Innovation Program in Culinary Consulting from The Culinary Institute of America and an Associate of Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from the California Culinary Academy.
