Rachel Moss is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in journalism and strategic communications. Rachel currently holds the position of Head of Communications at Newport City Homes since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Communications at Hugh James from February 2020 to November 2022. Rachel also has extensive experience at Audit Wales, where they led the communications team and provided strategic counsel to senior leaders. Rachel's career in journalism includes roles at BBC News, ITV, ITN, and Channel One Television, where they worked as a reporter, presenter, and news anchor. Throughout their career, Rachel has demonstrated their ability to deliver effective communications strategies, manage reputations, and lead large teams.

Rachel Moss (FCIPR, Chart.PR) has a diverse education history. In 2005-2006, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in PR from CIPR Qualifications, specializing in Public Relations. Additionally, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma course in Broadcast Journalism at City, University of London, focusing on Broadcast Journalism (Radio and Television). Rachel also holds a Joint Honours Degree from Keele University in History and English. Later on, in 2016, they acquired the Chartered PR Practitioner certification from CIPR Qualifications. Rachel furthered their marketing knowledge by completing the Level 6 Professional Diploma in Marketing, Strategic Marketing at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2016. In 2017, Rachel pursued advanced marketing studies with CIM and obtained the Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing, concentrating on Digital Strategy.
