Matthew Siljander

Matthew Siljander is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon currently serving at Hoag Orthopedic Institute and Newport Orthopedic Institute since August 2020. Prior to this, Matthew completed a fellowship in Lower Extremity Adult Reconstruction at Mayo Clinic Rochester from July 2019 to July 2020 and was an orthopaedic surgery resident at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine from June 2014 to June 2019. Earlier career experiences include a role as a Research Assistant in Biodesign at Stanford University School of Medicine in June 2011 and as a Process Engineer at CertainTeed Corporation from July 2007 to August 2009. Matthew holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan (2002-2007), an MD from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (2010-2014), and an MS in Biomedical Sciences from Rosalind Franklin University (2009-2010).
