Elizabeth Viveiros, Ed.D., serves as the Deputy Superintendent for Portsmouth School Department since July 2012, where responsibilities include collaborating with various stakeholders to shape instructional goals and improving student achievement through curriculum alignment and strategic planning. Previously, Elizabeth held the roles of MTSS Coordinator and Elementary School Principal, focusing on implementing academic and behavioral interventions and fostering a supportive school culture. Additionally, Elizabeth is a University Lecturer at Northeastern University, teaching doctoral-level courses in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership. With a robust background in special education, Elizabeth also contributed to the Bristol Warren Regional School District as a teacher, specializing in second-grade instruction and special education for students with mild to moderate disabilities. Elizabeth holds an Ed.D. in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from Northeastern University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education, and a Bachelor’s in Special Education/Elementary Education from Rhode Island College.
