Lung-Chi Lee

Lung-Chi is Partner and General Counsel of NewQuest and oversees legal, compliance, and execution for the firm. Lung-Chi joined NewQuest in 2011 and has nearly 20 years of private equity, M&A and litigation experience. Prior to NewQuest, Lung-Chi was General Counsel for Private Equity and Head of Legal for M&A with GE Capital for the Asia Pacific Region, based in Hong Kong. Prior to GE Capital, Lung-Chi practiced law in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and San Francisco with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP and Perkins Coie LLP.

He received his law degree from UC Berkeley School of Law and a BA from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Lung-Chi is fluent in English and Mandarin, and conversational in Cantonese.
