Lothar Krinke has had a long and varied career in business and academia. Lothar began their professional career in 1991 as a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. In 1998, they moved to A.T. Kearney, where they served as Vice President. In 2001, they joined Celera Genomics as Vice President of Business Development. In 2002, they moved to Endogeny Bio, where they held the same position. In 2004, they joined Medtronic as Vice President and General Manager of Deep Brain Stimulation and Vice President of Research and Business Development for Neuromodulation. In 2017, they became CEO of Welcony and in 2018 they took on the role of Adjunct Assistant Professor at West Virginia University. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed CEO and Board Member of Newronika S.p.A.
Lothar Krinke's education history consists of three distinct experiences. Lothar started at Technische Universität Braunschweig in 1981, where they earned a Vordiplom in Biology, General in 1985. Lothar then continued their studies at University at Albany, SUNY, where they earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology in 1989. Finally, they completed a Post-Doctoral at Caltech in Molecular Biology in 1991.
