Samantha Maiden

Samantha Maiden has covered federal politics in the Canberra press gallery for more than 20 years, writing for The Australian and the News Corp Sunday papers before joining news.com.au. Her career highlights include being called a 'mad witch' by Peter Dutton and her first book, Party Animals, published in 2020. Fittingly, she runs a small private zoo at home featuring her three children, two dogs and a cat.
