Elizabeth Taras

Elizabeth Taras currently serves as Senior Director and Assistant General Counsel for Antitrust at News Corp, a position held since June 2020, following a promotion from Director in the same department. Previous experience includes serving as an Associate at Constantine Cannon LLP and as an Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Bureau for the Office of the New York State Attorney General. Elizabeth also gained experience as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice and held various roles, including Summer Associate and Research Assistant, in legal firms and institutions. Elizabeth earned a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Adelphi University.
