Lewis Haggar

Lewis Haggar has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Lewis started their career at Arooga, where they worked as a QA Tester from November 2010 to July 2011 and later as a Games Programmer from July 2011 to December 2013. Lewis then joined Spargonet as an IT Consultant and remained there from December 2013 to December 2016. Lewis then worked at the UK Home Office as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2017 to August 2017. After that, they joined Trainline as a Senior Software Engineer and worked from September 2017 to September 2018. Currently, Lewis is employed at News UK, where they have held various positions, including Senior Software Engineer from September 2018 to February 2020, Principal Engineer from March 2020 to January 2022, and currently serves as the Head of Engineering from January 2022 onwards.

Lewis Haggar obtained a BSc (Hons) Computer Games Technology degree from the University of Portsmouth, starting in 2008 and completing it in 2011. Lewis also holds a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in September 2021.
