Erik Columbia

Erik Columbia is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in sports broadcasting and journalism. Currently serving as a Videographer, Editor, and Host for Bridge Street and a Digital Reporter at NewsChannel 9 WSYR since April 2021, Erik has previously worked as a Weekend Sports Anchor at Spectrum News from May 2014 to January 2021. Prior roles include Sports Director at WEYI - NBC25, where responsibilities involved anchoring sports segments for evening newscasts, and Sports Director at WICZ Fox 40, overseeing the production of sportscasts. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television News from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Florida Gulf Coast University.
