Maxwell Bevington

Maxwell Bevington is a Digital Producer at NewsChannel 9 WSYR since June 2023, with a strong background in journalism and sports media. Bevington served as a Writer and Head Sports Editor for the Boston University Daily Free Press from September 2019 to May 2023, and contributed as a writer for WTBU News and the Boston University News Service, creating multimedia stories and podcasts focused on sports and current events. Additional experience includes a summer internship at The Padel School, conducting social media research, a student internship at the Cambridge Chronicle covering local politics, and writing for Minute Media. Bevington holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Boston University and has prior educational experience at St. Francis de Sales High School and St. John's Jesuit High School & Academy.
