Frankie Iturbe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Frankie started their career as an intern at SUNIVO Supply Chain Management, where they worked in the distribution division. Frankie gained valuable experience in project engineering as an intern at DPR Construction, working on projects such as medical office building construction and biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility construction. In 2014, Frankie joined Accenture as a Technology Consulting Manager, focusing on sales organizations and helping Fortune 500 companies improve their sales processes. In 2018, they worked as an Experience Designer, bringing design thinking and service design methodologies to small and medium-sized businesses. In 2019, Frankie founded and served as the CEO of WeElevate, an education services company that served public schools and nonprofits, achieving significant growth in its client base and student reach. Most recently, Frankie joined Newsela in 2021, assuming roles such as Sales Program Manager, Senior Program Manager, Senior Change & Adoption Manager, and Partnership Director. In their various roles at Newsela, Frankie contributed to strategic planning, sales process definition, program development, and supporting the sales and customer service teams.

Frankie Iturbe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California in the years 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the MEDDPICC Masterclass from MEDDICC in 2022, the Earned Income Accelerator for Nonprofits from +Acumen in 2019, and the LUMA Institute Certified Practitioner certification and Design Kit: The Course for Human-Centered Design certification from LUMA Institute and IDEO respectively, both in 2017.
