Preetesh Bengali

Preetesh Bengali has a wealth of experience in various roles related to people operations and human resources. Preetesh is currently working as the Director of People Operations at Newsela since March 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at Capsule from May 2020 to February 2021. Before joining Capsule, Preetesh served as the Head of Total Rewards and People Sciences at Compass from May 2019 to May 2020. Their previous roles include Senior Manager of Compensation at Squarespace from October 2017 to May 2019, Compensation Manager at Zendesk from July 2016 to October 2017, and Manager of Sales Finance (Sales Compensation) at Twitter from April 2015 to May 2016. Prior to that, Preetesh earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, completed between the years 2000 and 2004. Preetesh also holds a certification in Anaplan, a business modeling and planning platform for sales, operations, and finance, which was obtained in 2014 from Anaplan institution.
