Rafael Ernesto Ferro González

Rafael Ernesto Ferro González has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Rafael Ernesto is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at NewStore, Inc. starting from January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Backend Engineer at Lengoo from January 2021 to December 2021.

Rafael also gained extensive experience at Rakuten Deutschland GmbH, where they held the position of Senior PHP Developer from October 2017 to December 2020. During their time there, they were involved in various projects including the refactoring of the Order Flow, design and implementation of new applications such as the Price Comparison API, and synchronization between different message brokers.

Before their time at Rakuten Deutschland GmbH, Rafael worked as a Full Stack Developer and Technology Advisor in freelance web development. Rafael Ernesto also worked as a Professor at Universidad de Pinar del Rio, where they taught Web Programming to Computer Engineering students. Additionally, they served as a Developer and System Administrator, working on projects such as GeSCoop, a software for managing cooperative social indicators, and a knowledge base.

Rafael Ernesto Ferro González obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad de Pinar del Rio, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. In 2016, they enrolled in Platzi and obtained several certifications in various fields, including Domain-Driven Design, Go programming, CQRS, event-driven architecture, testing practices, and SOLID principles. Rafael also completed courses in Kubernetes, Azure IaaS, Now.sh deployment, Vue.js, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, frontend development with Bootstrap and Foundation, frontend professionalism, cybersecurity, server administration, DevOps, backend professionalism, and WordPress essentials.
