Gerald O'Flanagáin

Gerald O'Flanagáin has worked in various roles since 2012. Gerald began as a Chef de Partie at Frangos in 2012. In 2013, they worked as an Intern - External Consultant at Consultancy Africa Intelligence. In 2015, they worked as a Business Analytics Intern at Microsoft. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Infosys @ Microsoft as a Sr. BI Reporting Specialist and Reporting Specialist. Since 2019, they have been a Lead Management Data Engineer and Lead Management Data Engineer (Analyst) at KBC Bank Ireland. Most recently, they began working as an Insights Analyst at NewsWhip in 2022.

Gerald O'Flanagáin has a diverse educational background. Gerald obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Politics and Economics from University College Dublin between 2007 and 2010. Gerald then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Cape Town between 2011 and 2012. Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Global Financial Information Systems from the Waterford Institute of Technology between 2014 and 2015. In addition to these degrees, O'Flanagáin has obtained various certifications, including a Jinja Templating Language Certificate from Bloomreach in September 2021, an Introduction to Python for Data Science from Microsoft in January 2018, a Developing Business Applications with PowerApps and Microsoft Flow from edX in September 2017, a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate from Microsoft in October 2021, and a Bertelsmann Data Science Challenge Scholarship from Udacity in May 2018.
