Richard Edgard Aguilar Paredes

Richard Edgard Aguilar Paredes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Richard Edgard started their career as a Technical Leader at the Ministry of Transport and Communications from October 1994 to September 1996. Richard Edgard then worked at GMD - Grupo Graña y Montero as a Project Leader, where they were responsible for the Telefónica del Perú Collections System from September 1996 to March 1999.

Following this, Richard joined BellSouth International, Inc. as a Project Leader from March 1999 to March 2005. Richard Edgard then transitioned to Telefónica Perú, where they held the position of Project Leader from March 2005 to April 2015. During their tenure, they managed various projects and was responsible for managing the CAPEX, negotiating SLAs with vendors, and optimizing enterprise systems. Richard Edgard also led projects related to mediation, fraud control, roaming, data warehousing, interconnection, and billing systems, among others.

From April 2015 to March 2017, Richard worked at NEWTOMS LLC, initially as the Head of Technology Telecom LATAM, and later as the Director of Technology Telecom LATAM. In these roles, they led projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on mediation platforms, interconnection, fraud control, revenue assurance, and business intelligence.

In 2018, Richard joined UTP Universidad Tecnológica del Perú as a faculty coordinator for the Systems Engineering Faculty.
