Julianne DiCenso McHugh's work experience includes serving as the Head of Sustainable Equities at Newton Investment Management Group since September 2021. In this role, they are responsible for identifying resources to support and enhance the integration of sustainability considerations into the firm's investment practices. Julianne also manages a selection of global and regional equity mandates and leads the BNY Large Cap Securities and the Emerging Markets Research fund.
Prior to their current position, Julianne worked at Mellon, where they served as the Chair of the Mellon ESG Council starting in January 2020. Julianne DiCenso also held the role of Portfolio Manager/Senior Research Analyst since February 2018.
Before joining Mellon, Julianne was Vice President at The Boston Company Asset Management from 2004 to 2018, where they served as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst. Julianne DiCenso was also previously a Vice President at State Street Research and Management from 2000 to 2004.
Julianne DiCenso McHugh completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at Lehigh University from 1988 to 1992. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at MIT Sloan School of Management from 1998 to 2000.
