Kai Thompson

Kai Thompson is a Senior Software Engineer at Newton.co, being one of two developers behind the company's limit order engine. As a Software Developer, Kai worked on projects such as re-writing the deposit vault aggregation service and creating a machine learning pipeline for topic modelling. In the role of Blockchain Engineer, Kai developed a blockchain reconciliation microservice and implemented on-device caching for user balance and stake positions. Prior to this, Kai was a Frontend Developer at Nifty Chess Inc. and the Founder of Krypto Depot. Kai holds a High School Diploma from Nelson High School.
