Chris Dixon

Chris Dixon has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at NewtonX since February 2023. Prior to that, Chris worked at Oracle, starting as a Full Stack Developer and Data Scientist from August 2018 to June 2021, then transitioning to a Senior Software Engineer role from June 2021 to August 2022, and finally serving as a Principal Software Engineer from August 2022 to February 2023.

In addition to their industry experience, Chris also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University, teaching a section of IS 455 on Predictive Data Analytics from January 2022 to April 2022. Chris also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University from August 2016 to June 2018.

Chris gained valuable experience as a Data Science Intern at Øptimus from May 2017 to August 2017, and as a Retirement Analyst at Willis Towers Watson from April 2015 to July 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from the same university, from 2008 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Chris also obtained the Google AdWords Search certification from Google in February 2017.
