Ruska Atanasova

Ruska Atanasova, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience. Ruska is currently working as an HR Business Partner at the Bulgarian Development Bank and as the Chief Human Resources Officer at NewU University, both starting in 2022. Prior to these roles, Ruska worked at the American University in Bulgaria from 2014 to 2021, where they held the positions of HR Partner, HR Associate, and Circulation/Reserve Librarian. Ruska also served as a Tax Inspector at the National Revenue Agency from 2014 to 2014. Before their career in HR and taxation, Ruska was the Managing Owner of Vasia Ltd from 2004 to 2013.

Ruska Atanasova, SHRM-CP, holds a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance from South-West University "Neofit Rilski", which was obtained between 2010 and 2013. Ruska also has a Bachelor's Degree in English Philology from the same university, earned from 2000 to 2005. In addition, they hold the certification of SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM, which they obtained in April 2021.
