Clare Cook

Clare Cook is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Audit, Risk, and Governance at NEX Building Group since January 2019. Clare has held various roles including Internal Audit Manager at NEX Building Group and Secretary of the Governance Committee at Carrie’s Place Domestic Violence and Homelessness Services Incorporated. Previous experience includes positions as a Governance Officer at the University of Newcastle and Senior Accountant at PwC Australia, where Clare worked with large clients across various sectors. A graduate of Macquarie University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Applied Finance, Clare also completed a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting and earned a certification as a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors. Notable early experience includes an internship with Marist Solidarity Cambodia, focusing on educational support for young people with disabilities.
