Debora Marani has extensive work experience in the field of materials science. Debora is currently employed at Nexa3D as a Materials Scientist since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at AddiFab as a Materials Scientist from May 2021 to March 2023.
Debora also held various positions at Elsevier, the European Commission, and FOM Technologies between 2018 and 2019, including Managing Editor-Applied Surface Science, Independent Expert, and Head of Science and Research respectively.
Before joining FOM Technologies, Debora was an External Collaborator at Universidade Federal do ABC - UFABC from October 2016 to March 2021. Debora also worked as a Visiting Research Scientist at Universidade de São Paulo from January 2018 until August 2018, where they focused on the fabrication of advanced ceramic thin films using ink-jet printing techniques.
Additionally, Debora gained research experience at AddiFab and DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they worked as an R&D professional and a Scientist respectively. Debora also completed a short-term research project as a Visiting Research Scientist at Universidade de São Paulo in early 2016.
Debora Marani obtained their Master's degree in Chemistry from Sapienza Università di Roma, attending from 1997 to 2001. Debora then pursued further education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science at Aix-Marseille University and the University of Rome Tor Vergata, from 2002 to 2006. Most recently, they enrolled at Europa Business School, where they are currently pursuing a Master's degree in EU Project Design and Management.
