Arnaud Allais

Cto/project Director For Nexans Superconducting System at Nexans

Arnaud ALLAIS has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Arnaud started their career as a Research Engineer at Alcatel Alsthom Recherche/Alcatel CIT in 1998 and worked there for three years. In 2001, they moved on to become the Head of Laboratory at Nexans Superconductor. Arnaud then joined Nexans Deutchland Industrie in 2003 as an R&D Engineer, specializing in Superconductors. In 2006, Arnaud joined Nexans as a Project Manager in the Business Unit Supraconducteur. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at Nexans Research Center in various roles, including R&D Team Leader and R&D Program Manager. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Program Director at Supergrid Institute. Arnaud returned to Nexans in 2015 as the Research Center Director. Arnaud later became the Group Research Director in 2019 before taking on their current role as the Fellow Project Director for Advanced Grid Solutions and Architectures.

Arnaud ALLAIS obtained a degree in Génie des Matériaux from Mines Paris in 2001, a DEA in Caractérisations Multi-échelles from Université d'Orléans in 1996, and an Ingénieur Généraliste degree in Génie des Matériaux from Ecole Supérieure de l'Energie et des Matériaux d'Orléans in 1996.
