Hans Kristian Langsrud

Hans Kristian Langsrud is currently the Head of Engineering and R&D at Nexans, a position held since August 2024. Prior to this role, Hans served as Senior Vice President Engineering at BW Offshore from August 2011 to August 2024, where responsibilities included leading engineering initiatives and managing projects such as KING FLNG. Hans's experience also includes an Engineering Manager role at Aker Solutions, overseeing a multicultural team for the Shtokman FPU project and holding various engineering positions in safety, reliability, and environmental disciplines for notable offshore projects. Hans began the career as a Marketing Engineer at Astilleros Espanoles in 1996. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), completed in 1995.
