Italia HURGON has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Italia started their career as a Research Engineer at LEM (Laboratoire d'Electrochimie Moléculaire) in 2007 and later worked as a Research Engineer at LISE (Laboratoire Interfaces et Systèmes Electrochimiques) in 2008. In 2009, they joined ArcelorMittal as an R&D Engineer.
Since 2011, Italia has been working at Nexans, where they held various roles. Italia started as a REACh Project Manager Assistant before moving on to become a REACh material composition & usage engineer. In 2015, Italia became the Group REACh Manager and later transitioned to the role of Global Product Manager Power Generation in 2018. Their responsibilities expanded further as they took on the role of Global Product Manager Wind & Pumps in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Engineering at Nexans.
Italia HURGON obtained a Master's degree in Management de Projets from OMNES Education in 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Surfaces, Couches minces, Nanomatériaux from Université Paris Cité in 2009.
