Clayton Schroeder

Clayton is a Principal/Senior Engineering Manager in Nexant’s Utility Services business unit located in the Hinsdale, IL office. Clayton has over 25 years of engineering experience focusing on commissioning (Cx), retrocommissioning (RCx), building energy efficiency, and HVAC operation & maintenance. He manages a team of professionals providing technical support and project coordination for energy efficiency programs including RCx, monitoring-based Cx, and small business. He previously supported industrial programs including compressed air, industrial refrigeration, process cooling and process heat. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (Mechanical) in the State of Illinois (License No. 062.056344), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP), and a LEED Accredited Professional.
