THE ROLE:

NexantECA, the Energy and Chemicals Advisory company, seeks a Japanese speaking Consultant/Senior Consultant for an opportunity based in either our Bangkok, Thailand or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant industry and/or consulting experience in energy and chemicals, with a technical and commercial focus.

The work will cover technology, economics, and market analysis within a broad range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the execution, delivery and management of subscription reports and consultancy engagements.
• Conduct research on process technology trends, develop comparative economic models of capital and operating costs of industrial plants, and prepare detailed techno-economic studies and written reports.
• Conduct primary research to understand key industry issues and develop market balances and projections.
• Work closely with clients, prepare and deliver presentations, and assist in building strong client relationships.
• Work across a broad range of chemicals and energy sectors.
• Develop and broaden personal knowledge and capabilities.
• Meet internal quality, time and budget constraints.
• Provide supervision and support to other team members as appropriate and assist in training and development activities.
• Support business development and sales activities across Asia, including a specific focus on Japan
