Daniel Velez

Daniel Velez is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and operations management. Currently serving as the Vice President of Operations for the Central Region at Nexcare Health Systems since April 2015, Daniel has held various critical positions within the organization, including Senior Regional Clinical Director and Regional Clinical Director. Additionally, Daniel served as President of the Philippine Nurses Association of Metro Detroit from August 2021 to December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as the Director of Nursing at Four Chaplains Nursing Care Center and CardioThoracic RN at the University of Michigan. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University, completed between 2018 and 2020, and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from West Visayas State University, earned from 1994 to 1998. Educational background includes a High School Diploma from Iloilo City National High School and completion of primary education at Tabucan Elementary School.
