Robert Lawless

Robert Lawless is responsible for raising and structuring the debt and equity capital required for NexCore and its projects and for maintaining the Company’s relationships with private and institutional lenders and equity partners. Robert also maintains oversight for many of NexCore’s financial and operational functions. When raising capital for NexCore’s projects, Robert focuses on obtaining reliable, low-cost capital that meets the flexibility and financing needs of their clients, while mitigating execution and capital markets risk.

Robert has held financial and operational management and executive roles for domestic and international public and private real estate companies for almost 20 years and has structured and negotiated over $5 billion of complex financings and capital markets transactions with various lenders and high net worth and institutional investors.

Robert earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting from Sacred Heart University and St. Leo’s University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Treasury Professional.
