Kirk Samson

Kirk Samson is the current Senior Director of Contract Management Services at Nexdigm. Kirk has over two decades of experience in contract negotiation and management, having worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to U.S. government agencies.

Kirk Samson founded their own consulting firm, Samson Atlantic LLC, in 2015. The company provided market entry research, political risk analysis, and site selection expertise to companies expanding their business operations globally. Kirk's extensive knowledge of local conditions helped their clients to negotiate the best incentive package for business expansion.

In 2019, Kirk joined Northwestern University as their Contracts and Negotiations Manager. In this role, they facilitated ground-breaking research and led complex negotiations involving a wide spectrum of university stakeholders, corporations, NGOs and government entities. Kirk was instrumental in promoting almost $1 billion a year of research in fields ranging from clinical trials for pharmaceuticals and medical devices to cutting-edge innovations in engineering.

Kirk Samson attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for their Juris Doctor, University of Minnesota for their Master of Arts in Scandinavian Studies, and University of Wisconsin-Madison for their Bachelor of Arts with Honors and Distinction in Scandinavian Studies. Kirk also attended the Air War College for their Defense and Security MBA and Arizona State University for their Master of Business Administration - MBA in Defense and Security. For their Norwegian Language and Literature studies, Kirk Samson attended the University of Oslo (UiO). Kirk also holds a Certificate in Leadership from Northwestern University and a Global MBA with Honors in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Kirk Samson is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Bar Association.
