Ingénieur Sénior R&i at Nexdot

Marc Pousthomis is a Senior R&I Engineer at Nexdot, specializing in the synthesis, post-treatment, and characterization of semiconductor nanocrystals (Quantum Dots) for applications in display technology, optical filtering, and photodetection since August 2016. Pousthomis has held various roles at Nexdot, including Project Manager for co-developing photodetectors with a global microelectronics client, R&D Deputy Director, and Team Leader for the Chemistry team, where leadership involved strategic guidance and resource management. Prior to Nexdot, Marc Pousthomis earned a PhD in chemistry and nanomaterials from INSA Toulouse, focusing on the chemical synthesis of magnetic nanoparticles and collaborates with Siemens AG. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in physical and chemical sciences and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
