Eric Polzin

Eric Polzin is currently serving as the Chief Construction Science Officer at NEXGEN Building Products since July 2024. Prior to this role, Eric held multiple positions at ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES), starting as a Staff Engineer and advancing to Senior Staff Engineer and Manager of Environmental Programs from October 2018 to July 2024. Eric's earlier experience includes serving as a Staff Engineer at BECC, Inc. from April 2010 to October 2018, and later as the CE&I Division Manager from January 2016 to September 2018, where Eric managed teams on industrial, commercial, and transportation projects. Eric earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham between 2005 and 2009.
