Shevantha Abeyasekera

Shevantha Abeyasekera has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2010, Shevantha served as the President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and as the Treasurer and Secretary of the International Student Association. From 2009 to 2013, Shevantha held various positions at Otterbein University, including Student Staff, Student, and Resident Assistant. As a Resident Assistant, Shevantha was responsible for administering a dormitory of 150 to 200 freshman students and overseeing the operations and programming budget of the Residence Hall.

In 2011, Shevantha interned at Messer Construction Co. as an Accounting Intern, where they reviewed and processed accounts payable invoices, audited credit card reconciliations, and assisted in preparing cost accounting reports.

Shevantha also gained experience at Nexgen Packaging, LLC, starting in 2011 as an Intern and later joining the company again in 2016 as a Technical Solutions Consultant. In 2013, Shevantha worked in Product Development at Nexgen Packaging, LLC.

Between 2014 and 2016, Shevantha worked at MAS Holdings as a Business Analyst. Currently, as of January 2020, Shevantha holds the role of Operations Manager at nexgen|packaging, LLC.
