David Gebhardt

David Gebhardt has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. david began their career at Nortel Networks as an Industrial Relations Manager in 1997. In 2002, they joined Ingenico Group as the Head of Sales and Marketing and worked there until 2009. During this time, they also served as the Vice President of Clear2Pay at FIS and later became the CEO of Jware Technologies. david then returned to Ingenico Group in 2012 and took on various positions including Managing Director of Bank & Retail, President of Ingenico Prepaid Services, and Chief Operating & Revenue Officer of Ingenico ePayments. In 2018, they joined Barclays as the Managing Director of Payments, overseeing merchant services for local and pan-EU merchants. In 2020, they transitioned to Euronet Worldwide where they served as the Global Managing Director of Merchant Services, Chief Executive Officer of Pure Commerce, and finally as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Merchant Services. Currently, they are the EVP of Merchant Services at Nexi Group since 2023. Overall, David Gebhardt has extensive experience in merchant services, acquiring, and payment solutions for various types of merchants of all sizes.

David Gebhardt obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Saint Joseph in 1993. david then pursued an Associate's degree in Computer Science from IUT Henri Poincaré de Longwy (Université de Lorraine) between 1991 and 1993. In 1995, they enrolled at the Business and Management School - Mulhouse in France, where they obtained a Master's degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Management in 1997.
