Dr. Philip Gross

Dr. Philip Gross currently serves as the Head of Commercial Excellence & Transformation at Nexi Group since September 2023, following an extensive career spanning over two decades in various leadership roles. As a Partner and Co-Founder of Axonalliance - Bright Strategies, responsibilities include client acquisition, project delivery, and team engagement, with notable achievements such as improving a Swiss food producer's profit margin and developing a loyalty program for a major tour operator. Dr. Gross also co-founded Archai, focusing on operational launches, team building, and fundraising, securing seed financing for operations. Past positions include Head of Sales and Marketing at Nexi Switzerland, Head of Business Development & Marketing at Rohr AG, and roles at gateB and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, alongside academic contributions as a Research Fellow. Dr. Gross holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from ETH Zürich and dual Ph.D.s in Marketing from Leibniz Universität Hannover and University of Zurich.
