Julius Pietkowicz

Managing Director - Benelux and UKI at Nexi Group

Julius Pietkowicz has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Currently, they serve as the Managing Director - Benelux and UKI at Nexi Group, a position they have held since June 2021.

In 2020, Julius was the Founder & Managing Partner of Re-Smart, a managed services advisory and consulting firm specializing in payments, transactional banking, and blockchain managed services. Julius began their career at SWIFT in 1998 and held various roles throughout their tenure. Julius was the Head of Channels and a Senior Business Manager for SWIFT For Corporate. Additionally, they served as an E-commerce Partner Manager and a Lead Product Manager.

Before joining SWIFT, Julius worked at Johnson & Johnson as the European Marketing Manager for Programs & Services. Julius also worked as a Sales Manager at Cornelius Chemicals and as a Consultant at ECOTEC.

Julius Pietkowicz pursued their education chronologically by first completing their Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Chemistry and Economics at the University of Sussex from 1987 to 1990. Julius then went on to pursue further studies at the same university, completing their Masters degree in Technology & Innovation Management from 1990 to 1991. Finally, Julius attended the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management from 1994 to 1995, where they obtained an MBA (Honours) degree.
